FAN MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST

For Explosion-Proof Exhaust Fan

Admonitory

INSTALLATION

The installation instructions allow a general guideline for the installation and wiring of the run down fan. All applicable codes must be adhered to.

Placement

1. For optimum melody exhaust, the fan(s) should atomic number 4 installed as follows:

a. There are no obstructions that may impede the fans air inlet or run.

b. The air discharge is directed departed from building.

c. The air discharge is not manageable at a thermostat.

d. For warehouses or large workshops it may personify satisfactory to use fewer, larger fans.

MOUNTING CLEARANCES

1. Leave leastwise 20" (500mm) headroom between the rear of the motor and the nearest obstruction.

2. Clearance equal to the height of the fan shroud above, or beneath is required for easy fan or motor replacement.

TEMPERATURE Curb

1. If required, the fan outturn may live thermostatically controlled past a remotely mounted thermostat.

FINAL INSPECTION

1. Earlier application of electrical power:

a. Check that completely connections are secured and abide by with the applicable wiring diagram and code requirements

b. Substantiate the power supply is compatible with the data plate rotating on motor.

c. Remove whatsoever foreign objects from fan.

d. Secure all electrical covers are well bonded.

e. Ensure the buff rotates freely counterclockwise when viewed from the rear of the fan and air exits through the dampers.
